About the location
Copal Retreat is located on an ocean-front Villa in the Mexican Riviera Maya. The rooftop studio space offers panoramic views of the beautiful Caribbean ocean - perfect for a sunrise or sunset practice.
The Villa is located in Paamul, a small beach town an hour away from the Cancun International Airport. All of our private suites are steps away from the pool - A relaxing space with an ocean breeze and view that cohabitates beautifully with the Caribbean tropics. There is an abundance of coconut palm trees, tropical flowers, sea shells, weathered limestone, hermit crabs, iguanas and pelicans, plus a galaxy worth of stars at night to gaze up at.

Five minutes south of La Villa - on a rugged bike-path through the jungle, lies a turtle sanctuary. This ungroomed and seaweedy isolated beach is the perfect spot to soak up some sun in peace To the north of Copal - about a two minute walk away, lies another beautiful beach with white powdered sand and fabulous margaritas.

There's a perfect balance between relaxation and play set up for the entire retreat. With the right amount of tours, activities, and free time, you are in control of what your schedule looks like. If you want to do more, take on some of our extra activities or have us arrange a tour for you during free time. Want to do less, kick back on a hammock with the ocean breeze or go on a solo bike trip through the jungle to the beach.
